ABOUT DR. LASTRA

Dr. Idalia Lastra earned her B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Miami in 1974. She attended graduate school in 1978 at the University of Alabama. She is certified with the American Board of Orthodontics and has maintained her private practice since 1980. In addition to practicing as a doctor, she has also presented many lectures on the subject and is a member of several organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists and the Southern Association of Orthodontists. In her spare time, she helps out in a variety of community organizations, including the Archdiocesan Education Foundation and the Kiwanis Club of Key Biscayne.
